Let’s go back in time with South London’s, Jake Hart

“Awake,” Hart’s newest release,  is minimal-echoey goodness that mixes the affinity of the bedroom producer with a dab of R&B.  

If you go back two months ago to his Bedroom Sessions “Keep Me” both of those things are further on display has he intros a slow building synth into Steve Wonder’s, “My Cherie Amour.” 

Crack it up to 85 once more and you’re greeted with “What Are We Now.” A more raucous ride that tapers out into some of the minimalist tendencies that he would put on display in the months to come.
