Hello, people.

I don’t have much to say about Sharon van Etten except she’s super cool and super good. This is going to be a short post. She recently toured LA supporting The National (also present: Neko Case), at a show I’ve repeatedly kicked myself for not going to. She also provided supporting vocals on the National song “Think You Can Wait” from Win Win which, if you haven’t heard it, look that up right now because it’s great.

Etten has an album due out next year and she’s already recruited National members as well as Beirut and tons of other fantastic people whose names I can’t remember and won’t be bothered to look up. Because I’m sick, among other things (other things: laziness).

Anyway, Etten just released this song “Serpents” recently and it’s pretty fantastic. Get on the bandwagon I just made up.
