Let’s start off Friday with some melancholic pop! Because why not, right? “Swim Darker” by Joseph (plainest name ever for an indie musical act?) starts out a little classic, even a little formulaic, but around 2:09 the song turns, begins to hint at things to come, and right when you don’t think it’ll get there it takes off and truly soars.
