HAPPY 2012, EVERYONE. It’s a new year, and that means new music. Coming up soon, I’ll be posting a list of both my top EPs of the year and top albums of the year, but due to laziness, they’ve been gathering dust in my computer until I regain the energy to type.
In the meantime, here’s a band that my roommate showed me a while back and I enjoyed but forgot to write anything about. They just released a new EP in November or December, and below you can find the song “Elegy” from it. And guess what? They’re from the Pacific Northwest. I’m so predictable. From Seattle to be exact, this band gained some popularity with their 2010 release To Travels and Trunks, as well as last year’s Bumbershoot performance and appearance on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series.
Below, find “Elegy,” and below that, find their more popular single off the 2010 album, “Rio.”
