This is the most eclectic Monday Morning Monocle in the storied three week history of the musical eyepiece. We start fittingly with Kid Cudi’s “Up Up & Away (The Wake & Bake Song)” and maneuver smoothly (or so I would like to think) into a feel good Patrick Wolf tune to wrap everything up.  All the while we make stops at Jay-Z’s protege, one my favorite mashups ever, a 7 minute rock orchestra, and the song title that may sum up this playlist in its entirety “Don’t Fence Me In” by Lady and the Lost Boys.
