“Monday Morning Monocle. A Playlist.” or M.M.M.A.P. as it will never be referred to is simply a way to get your week started with a few less clicks and a lot less thought. This week starts off daring with a 7 minute diddy by Titus Andronicus. It seemed evident that there is absolutely no better way to kick off a new installment and a Monday than with a song that opens with a spoken word introduction from Abraham Lincoln’s Lyceum Address. “… if destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we will live forever or die by suicide.” That’s one hell of a way to open a song.

This week opens with two songs that are not for the faint of heart. From Titus Andronicus we  turn it up to eleven with Fucked Up (that’s the bands name) and then wind our way back down to upbeat indie-poppy-ness.
